(260126) -- KFARDOUNINE, Jan. 26, 2026 (Xinhua) -- People gather at the scene of an Israeli airstrike in Kfardounine, southern Lebanon, Jan. 25, 2026. Two Hezbollah members were killed, and five other people injured on Sunday in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported.

The Israeli army has carried out frequent strikes in Lebanon, claiming they are aimed at removing Hezbollah "threats," despite a U.S.- and French-brokered ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel that has been in effect since Nov. 27, 2024.
