DUBAI, 21st April, 2025 (WAM) -- Austria Tourism, Atout France Middle East, the German National Tourist Office GCC (GNTO), and the Spanish Tourist Office are joining forces for Discover Europe Travel Summit meets Marhaba 2025, taking place in Dubai on 25th and 26th April.
For the first time, the Discover Europe Travel Summit and Marhaba Europe will unite, offering travel professionals from the GCC, Levant and India access to 130 suppliers from Austria, France, Germany and Spain. A total of 5,720 pre-scheduled meetings are set across the two-day event.
The summit serves as a strategic platform for destination marketing organisations, hospitality providers, DMCs and transport specialists to exchange insights and build long-term partnerships with 150 qualified buyers.
Austria's alpine landscapes, lakes and cultural cities continue to attract GCC travellers year-round. Michael Tauschmann, Head of Markets Middle East and India at Austria Tourism, said the country offers authentic experiences across its lesser-known regions, and the summit provides the ideal platform to engage with key experts.
France remains popular for its iconic landmarks, luxury shopping and tailored visitor experiences. Maulin Dominique, Director at Atout France Middle East, highlighted the summit as an opportunity to present curated, high-quality offerings and strengthen partnerships in the region.
Germany continues to draw visitors with its cultural heritage, green spaces and seamless infrastructure. Yamina Sofo, Director of the Marketing and Sales Office - GNTO GCC, emphasised the summit's value in showcasing tailored experiences, including wellness and family-friendly travel.
Spain appeals to GCC travellers through its cultural richness and geographic diversity. Carlos Ruiz Gonzalez, Director of the Spanish Tourist Office for the GCC, noted that the event supports Spain's outreach in a key growth market, enabling direct engagement with regional travel leaders.
Together, the four countries present a diverse range of offerings for GCC travellers-from nature and heritage to family and luxury tourism. The summit provides a key platform for business development and reflects Europe's shared commitment to offering world-class, year-round travel experiences.
